5 Other Methods To Boost Your Website’s Revenue
If your a owner of a website or two you are probably trying to make money from them. You might even be making a bit of coin too, but what If I told you that I you could increase it? Would you take what I have to say? If so, continue reading. I’m about to show you 10 sure-fire ways that you can improve your websites and earn more money!
One: Private Forums
Private forums are probably one of the most recent ways to make some decent coin off your website. This method isn’t going away in popularity anytime soon either. If your website offers great content and has a good user base why not set up a forum and charge $5 – $10 a month? If you can get 100 or so members to sign up that is an extra 500 – 1000$ dollars a month, insane!
Two: Premium Content
A few websites on the internet are giving some of their content for free and leaving the rest for premium members. A good example is SEOMoz. They give you great seo content but charge $48 (might be more now) for tutorials, guides, tools, and exclusive content.
You don’t have to offer all of that. However, if you plan on charging a good amount you should have something to back it up: good content, tools, guides, and more.
Three: Marketplace
Depending on your niche and your authority in that niche will decide how good of a marketplace you can have. A thriving marketplace with plenty of vendors and customers will thrive your website. You can charge a small fee for anyone that wants to sell, and leave it free for the buyers. If you have a large enough user base I recommend you start one.
Note: A marketplace isn’t exactly easy to set up. It’ll take some time but once you have it up and running you’ll find the money rolling in!
Four: Split Test Ads
A lot of webmasters and website owners don’t know that you need to split test your ads. Who knows what sizes or colors work best. You won’ t know until you start trying different ones! You can also split test between ad networks. Some ad networks are better then the other. Obviously adsense dominates the industry, but what if there is an ad network exclusive for your industry? You are bound to make much, much more!
Five: Donations
This isn’t exactly a way to make more money with your website. Most webmasters and website owners dislike asking their members for donations when they don’t need it. Others don’t mind it. So its totally up to you. If you think your user base won’t mind throwing a $1 or $2 at you then go for it.
